American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) is a non-profit, national organization of professionals working in the electronic media and closely allied fields.

Our mission is to advance the impact of women in the electronic media and allied fields by educating, advocating and acting as a resource to its members and the industry.

One of the ways the Twin Cities’ AWRT Chapter fulfills this mission is with the Membership Scholarship program.  As a recipient of the Scholarship, fifty percent of your first year’s dues will be paid by the chapter in exchange for active on-going involvement in AWRT.  The chapter goal is that your involvement with AWRT your scholarship year will generate continued participation in the ensuing years.
